Keepers Legacy’s current status and future role.
Is Keepers Legacy currently accepting participants?
Not yet. Keepers Legacy is pending final authorization. We will post verified next steps once authorization, service area, and intake procedures are confirmed.
Can I apply for services now?
No enrollment or service-start process should begin until final authorization is confirmed. You may use this website for general updates only.
What is the participant’s role in Consumer Directed Services?
The participant plays a central role in choosing, training, directing, and supervising an attendant within the authorized service plan and current program rules.
Does Keepers Legacy hire or assign attendants?
No. This is not a traditional caregiver-placement process. The participant selects the attendant; Keepers Legacy is preparing to support the approved administrative, payroll, timekeeping, and compliance process after authorization.
Can an attendant begin work before all paperwork is complete?
No. Services, payroll, and billing must not begin until all required approvals, screenings, training, documentation, timekeeping requirements, and the authorized start date are complete.
How will time and payroll be handled?
After authorization, Keepers Legacy will provide current approved instructions for EVV/timekeeping, payroll processing, corrections, and recordkeeping. Do not rely on verbal instructions alone.
What areas will Keepers Legacy serve?
The final service area will be published after authorization. Until then, Keepers Legacy will not promise availability in a particular county or region.
Can I email medical records or personal identification documents?
No. Do not email sensitive medical information, Social Security numbers, or identity documents. Keepers Legacy will provide a verified secure-document process after activation.
What should I do in an emergency?
Call 911 for an emergency. Email and voicemail are not monitored as emergency services and must not be used for urgent safety needs.
